PRODUCE & HERBS - all produce is certified organic and is grown in the Golden Willow gardens, harvested, and locally sold within a 50 mile radius of the farm.  Availability is approximate.  Delivery is arranged by a schedule or you pick up.  Please CALL  Jan at 406-264-5905.

Please keep in mind that our wonderful Montana weather has a lot to do with expediting growth of the crops and thus their availability!  My greenhouses are free-standing designed, meaning I start my plants within their protective enclosures, and then once grown to seedlings and acclimated will find their way out to the gardens from early to late Spring.  I don't grow any crops for sale within the confines of the greenhouses after that.

Well, it's May 7th 2009 and we are just now seeing the gardens after snowstorms that created 8' drifts!  Is it Spring yet?!  Hopefully, lettuce will go into the garden from my greenhouse this weekend.  I planted some saved seed ('07) this year and germination was almost immediate!  It's a 4 Seasons tasty variety that I'm sure has been well acclimated to our area.  This year is the year of the "Pepper."  I hope to have 4 colorful varieties of peppers, from those that can be stuffed, eaten raw or in salads to those with a mild "zip" to them!  THINK FRESH AND LOCAL!  :)
